Developed in the 1960s, cross wedge rolling is a modern steel rolling technology suitable for rolling rotator with varying section. The process mainly involves sawing round steel, heating, rolling, normalizing, shot blasting, straightening, and product sawing. The rollers rotate in the same direction to achieve the rolling deformation of the round steel through the die.

WHY DOES CWR MACHINE HAVE HIGH EFFICIENCY?

Simple process It only takes several seconds for the rollers to rotate one circle, and the CWR machine can produce 2 or more pieces at one time if you want (according to the shape of pieces).

Small machining allowance and high material utilization There is no draft angle for CWR machine and the internal and external round angle of CWR machine's billet is small. Differences between roll forging machine and CWR machine

PRINCIPLE

 

Roll forging is a plastic forming process in which the material gets plastic deformation under the action of a pair of reverse rotating dies to obtain the required forgings or forging billets, and its deformation principle is complex three-dimensional deformation. Compared with ordinary die forging, it has the advantages of simple equipment structure, stable production, low vibration and noise, easy to realize automation and high production efficiency.

USE

 

Roll forging machine: Most of the deformed material flows along the length direction to increase the length of the billet, while a small part of the material flows horizontally to increase the width of the billet. The billet section area decreases continuously, which is suitable for the deformation process of shaft drawing out, sheet material rolling and material distribution along the length direction.

Cross wedge rolling machine: CWR machine has the advantages of high production efficiency, high material utilization rate, high die life and high quality products, especially suitable for the manufacture of shaft parts.
