From July 4 to 7, 2024, the China International Metal Forming Exhibition was grandly held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. This year's exhibition attracted over 300 domestic and international companies, with nearly 20,000 visitors in attendance. The China International Metal Forming Exhibition, founded by the Confederation of Chinese Metalforming Industry in 1990, is one of the world's premier specialized exhibitions. Exhibitors span industries including forging, stamping, and sheet metal manufacturing, showcasing components, raw materials, processing equipment, tooling, auxiliary materials, welding and coating, inspection and testing, quality assurance, safety production, quality systems, enterprise management, sensors, robots, automation, and information and intelligent technologies.
To highlight the rapid development of the aerospace forging industry over the past decade and promote technical exchange and business cooperation in the sector, the Aerospace Material Forming Technology Subcommittee of the Confederation of Chinese Metalforming Industry organized a group of outstanding aerospace forging companies to participate in the exhibition. Participating companies included Beijing CISRI-Gaona Materials & Technology Co., Ltd., China Aviation Technology International Holdings Co., Ltd., Xi'an Triangle Defense Co., Ltd., Jingdezhen Aero-Casting Co., Ltd., Jingdezhen Mingxing Aviation Forging Co., Ltd., Shanxi Zhonggong Heavy Forging Co., Ltd., Shanxi Guanjia Camp Flange Forging Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Sortech Heavy Industry Technology Co., Ltd., and Beijing Tianli-Chuang Glass Technology Development Co., Ltd.
Miao Changxing, First-Class Inspector from the First Division of Equipment Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, as well as Xia Hanguan, Chairman of the Confederation of Chinese Metalforming Industry, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General Zhang Jin, and Vice Chairmen Mi Honglie and Ren Qihua, visited the aerospace materials zone for guidance and discussions.
